The motorhome is fitted with the “Macadamia” style interior which feature ‘high-quality materials and excellent workmanship’ as you’d expect from a German built vehicle.
The interior has a pleasant LED lighting throughout the motorhome which Sunlight calls ‘Indirect Illumination’ and it helps to create a cosy, ambient atmosphere.
The driver and passenger seats both swivel, so when on site, they can turn around and face the lounge area, which is of the typical half-dinette design with twin forward-facing travel seats, a large central table and a final side-facing seat.
Behind the half-dinette is the practical L-shaped kitchen, with integrated lighting under the cupboards, Gas Oven, The three-burner hob has a glass lid, which is great for extra preparation area prior to cooking. Opposite is the 145-litre fridge with a 29-litre freezer compartment built in.
To the rear of the kitchen, there’s a toilet with electric flush on one side of the galley and, on the other, a shower room. The washroom and WC can be closed off along with the rear bedroom from the front of the motorhome to create an en suite area.
At the rear of the T68, there are twin single beds (2.15m by 0.80m and 2.10m by 0.80m) accessed by two permanent steps, with handy overhead storage for clothing and other bits and bobs. The beds are separated by what looks like a mid-sized mid section, which can be used to create one very large double or an optional third single rear bed.
There is also a drop-down double bed over the lounge, which measures a generous 1.95m by 1.40m (shrinking to 1.10m at its narrowest).
There’s ample storage in the T68’s garage to stow bikes, surfboards and gear, with a power outlet in there if more charging is needed and, with a 549kg payload, there is plenty of capacity for carrying extra kit. Better still it sits on a 3,500kg chassis so anyone with a standard car licence can drive it.
