About Bridgend Leisure Vehicles
We started our small family run business in November 2016 operating from our home, which is in Bridgend between Cardiff and Swansea on the South Wales M4 corridor, selling reasonably priced camper vans and motorhomes to customers from all over the UK. We initially operated on a part time basis but since July 2019 we have become a full time business.
As the business expanded, in May 2023, we have taken on business premises at Unit 1b, Wick Van Centre, Waterton Lane off the A473 main road from the M4 Motorway junction 35 to Bridgend and are a short 5 minutes drive from the M4. We arranged viewings on a strictly “By Appointment Only” basis at the pre mentioned address.
As of 1st February 2024 we have moved into a Showroom at Plot 4, Wick Van Centre, Waterton Lane, Bridgend CF31 3UZ and there is no longer a need to pre-arrange an appointment other than for Sundays, where we are closed but will accommodate pre-arranged appointments where possible.
Adrian who looks after sales and purchasing has been in the motor trade since 2003 (predominantly working with Motorhomes and Campers since 2010) as an employee of main dealers in South Wales. We buy nice vehicles from main dealers and also sometimes from the general public. We underwrite campers/motorhomes for main dealers (when they are offered to them in part exchange) and are always very keen to hear from any camper/motorhome dealer who require a vehicle underwriting.
All of our mechanical work is carried out by a trusted local workshop called GWP Transport, this includes all of our MOT’s and service work. This family company was established in 1981 and has an excellent local reputation.
Our Habitation work is carried out by another trusted local Motorhome workshop called Balmoral Motorhomes. This company specialises in Servicing, Damp Repairs and rectification work on Motorhomes, Campers and Caravans.
We also use a company called Towbar & Leisure Solutions to carry out both Mechanical and Habitation work as they are conveniently based next door to us.
Any retail vehicle we sell will come with a full 12 month MOT, an engine oil service (or a full service if due), Habitation Service inc gas test, 15 months mechanical warranty and a full working handover. Even if the vehicle we are selling has a very long MOT already, we still insist on having our workshop put a fresh new MOT on it, then we are 100% sure it is going out with a clean bill of health to it’s next owner.
